About the Show

Peter is a monkey-turned-human who longs to return to his previous life as a monkey. His animated character operates spontaneously using artificial intelligence, and he has existed in the world for over two years, developing through his relationship with the artist who created him, Amir Yatziv, and through conversations with viewers.

Based on Franz Kafka's story "A Report to an Academy," Peter Is Leaving explores the acquisition of knowledge and power in a world increasingly controlled by machine learning.
