Amir Yatziv (b. 1972) is a live performer, filmmaker, and video artist. His recent projects work with live simulation, artificial intelligence, and live performance, alongside film and installation. His practice engages with past narratives and their contemporary interpretation, revealing the impossibility of a single coherent historical truth. In his recent theater work Peter is Back, Yatziv created a live performance with an AI-driven creature that performs and responds in real time.

Yatziv is a graduate of Bezalel academy of art, Jerusalem (2008) and UDK Berlin (Hito Steyerl class, 2010). His works were shown in numerous group and solo exhibitions including Tate Modern – UK, KW Berlin – Germany, Van Abbemuseum – the Netherlands and his films were screened at film festivals around the world.
